Use dictionaries and encyclopedias to locate overviews of specific topics, such as sports, exercises, health conditions, sports injuries, nutrition, and more.
If you're looking for information about something that isn't found in one of these reference sources, try doing a keyword search (eg. "cystic fibrosis") and limiting it to e-books. This may bring up a topic-specific book that will provide the general overview information you need. Introductions are a great place to look! Also read the tables of contents and scan the index, if available, before beginning to scan through the entire book.
