Library OneSearch

For your research assignments, start with the Advanced Search feature under Search Everything to conduct searches using relevant search keywords.

If you are only looking for books, click on the Books tag and conduct keyword searches there.

Searching Books & E-Books

Books are rarely the most current source of information on a topic, but they are often useful because they offer a broader perspective.

To search for books on a topic, choose the Books tab, choose Keywords from the dropdown, enter your keywords, and search.

To find a specific book using OneSearch, choose the books tab and enter the title in quotation marks.

All of our recent computing science related books are electronic. For instruction in limiting a search to e-books, see the tutorial immediately below.

Classic catalogue search for books or media.

The classic library catalogue is a searchable database of the books and media we have in the library. It has largely been replaced by the new OneSearch interface, which searches for books, articles, and media from one place. Click the link above to start a new search. The linked page below has a set of instructional video tutorials on searching the classic catalogue.
