PsycInfo and PsycArticles, accessed together through one search box, have a new interface. These databases offer comprehensive coverage of 1500+ journals, including nearly 100 journals from the American and Canadian psychological associations. Extensive full text article availability. The best article resource for psychology and counselling. See the tutorial below.

Sage Journals
Full text coverage of 90+ psychology journals published by Sage.
JSTOR
Multi-subject coverage of the most important journals, including those from psychology. This database is archival, so most full text is no more recent than five years ago.

Large, broad-based database covering many subjects. Coverage of psychology / counselling is much smaller than PsycINFO's coverage, but it can be useful for interdisciplinary topics.

ATLA Religion Database with ATLASerialsPLUS (EBSCOhost) -- Current Interface (ending July 2025)
Large religion database with good coverage of religious aspects of psychology and counselling.

Cork Alcohol and Substance Abuse Database
This database is now archival, having last been updated in 2014.The CORK database includes over 89,000 items on substance abuse, indexed by over 400 terms. These are primarily from the professional literature and include journal articles, books, book chapters, and reports. Very limited full text availability.

Dimensions
A comprehensive index similar to the citation indexes of Web of Science. Free registration required. Each citation provides a list of its references and a citation count plus a list of citing documents. Limited full text, though there is an open access filter on the left. For more full text and formatted citations, take titles found in Dimensions, log into Google Scholar from the library home page, and search for Dimensions titles there.
