TWUSpace : the TWU Institutional Repository

TWUSpace (the TWU institutional repository) collects scholarly and creative materials created by the Trinity Western University community, as well as important documents related to the university's history, which are made freely available to the public.

TWUSpace Licenses

TWU needs your permission to add your work to TWUSpace.

When you submit your work in TWUSpace, you will be directed to read and sign a non-exclusive licence form online which gives the Trinity Western University permission to make a copy of your work openly-accessible to the public through TWUSpace, in perpetuity. People will be able to use your work for non-commercial purposes as long as they provide appropriate acknowledgment and do not alter the work in any way. This license does not transfer the copyright for the work to the University.

Submission Guidelines

Faculty/Staff work

  1. Author (and co-authors if applicable) reads and signs TWUSpace's non-exclusive license, which:
    • warrants that you are the copyright owner and have permission to submit your work to TWUSpace
    • attests that the work does not contain material that is libelous, unlawful or violates anyone's right to privacy
    • grants TWU permission to make the work available freely and unaltered and that you receive appropriate acknowledgement
    • allows the TWU Office of Research & Graduate Studies to migrate the work to a different format, should technology change
  2. Author follows the instructions to submit their work in Arca and sends the signed non-exclusive license to the TWU Office of Research & Graduate Studies.
  3. The submission to TWUSpace is reviewed (for author eligibility, content layout & format, and for spam) and metadata added to make your work more discoverable in search engines.
