Probably. Fair dealing and decisions of the Supreme Court of Canada permit the copying of insubstantial amounts of copyright material. In the Canadian post-secondary community, this is typically interpreted as being one chapter or 10% of a book.
Note that cumulative copying (more than one chapter from the same book for the same class in the same school year) is not permitted. Copyright materials posted using the Education Institutions exceptions must be destroyed within 30 days of students receiving their final evaluation for the class.
